I have an irrational fear of last words,
Though I personally don’t consider it irrational.
The last time I talked to my aunt, she was in a hospital bed fighting cancer, her battle lasted for over 20 years, though I didn’t know that until after I attended her funeral.
I didn’t know it was the last time I would get to hear her voice.
It sounded a little scratchy,
And it had a hint of a turkish accent,
That’s where she immigrated from;
Turkey.
The worst part of last words is that you can never get the chance to say everything you need to say, especially if you dont know it’s the last chance you get.
