Our Mission

Our Mission

Kids Art for Climate Justice is an organization my daughter and I started to make a positive impact for climate justice while building community and inspiring creativity and expression.

May this project support our children to feel individually and collaboratively empowered to stand strong in their convictions for our planet’s healing.

This is an ongoing online exhibit to fuel community and empower youth.

Exhibits at various locations will display the art and poetry as well as raise funds for environmental and social justice organizations.

For Earth Day 2022 & 2023 we raised over $3500 and donated all profit to the Rainforest Action Network (a non-profit that focuses on buying rainforest for the sake of preservation) and Women’s Earth Alliance (supporting women climate justice leaders around the world)!

For Earth Day 2024, a Collaborative Community Wide Project was created in Bellingham Washington. Over 100 kids created The Giving Tree!  All Profit will be given to OneTreePlanted : every Dollar raised will plant One New Tree!

Feeling part of a community, having a sense of belonging and engagement, along with pride and hope, are necessary for our children’s vitality and resilience.

Support children in expressing their feelings through creativity and positive action!

About Us

Jade, at eight years of age, asked her mother to help her do something to help the earth. Together, they brainstormed and Kids Art for Climate Justice was born.
This project holds a special place in their hearts. They are most grateful for the opportunity to work with so many fantastic children, parents and mentors.
Jade is now a 7th grader who loves to create and spend time with her friends and family.

Samantha and Jade love working as a mother-daughter team! They love bringing people together to do creative things while raising awareness and creating actions that have impact.

They enjoy laughing, doing art, playing charades, hiking in the rain and sun, cooking together, dancing whenever possible, and going to see theater and art.
