There is way too much work,
And it is very stressing

But what I didn’t realize,
Is what I was missing.

Making a check list,
Getting it all done

Crossing it all off,
The stress is now gone.

Looking back at the list,
Worries long gone.

The satisfaction of finishing an assignment,
Working way too hard.

The satisfaction of working too hard,
And knowing you’re done.

The satisfaction,
Of nothing left to worry about.

The satisfaction of putting piles of work,
neatly away in folders.

The silent but slight sounds,
Of the crumpling work sheets with all inside thoughts.

The satisfaction,
Of true relaxation.
